Skill Development & Vocational Training

At AWWA Sena Jal, we strongly believe that empowering families is the best way to honor our soldiers. For this reason, we have launched a dedicated program to provide vocational training and skill development opportunities to women and children of Army families.

Through specialized workshops and training sessions, we help participants acquire practical skills that enable them to become financially independent and self-reliant. Our training covers a wide range of fields, including:

  • Stitching & Tailoring – equipping women with professional-level sewing skills.
  • Embroidery & Knitting – promoting traditional crafts while opening avenues for livelihood.
  • Computer Literacy – preparing youth and women for the digital era.
  • Driving Lessons – enabling self-dependence and confidence.
  • Handicrafts & Handmade Arts – nurturing creativity with an opportunity to generate income.

Our Impact

  1. Hundreds of women have been trained and empowered to contribute to their family income.
  2. Children from Army families have gained practical computer knowledge for better career prospects.
  3. Many participants have started small businesses, tailoring units, or handicraft work from their homes.

This initiative not only enhances the livelihood opportunities of Army families but also boosts their confidence, dignity, and participation in society.

When we skill a woman, we empower a family. When we empower a family, we strengthen the nation.
